FLUNARIZ is Flunarizine, a difluorinated derivative of Cinnarizine. Flunarizine is a selective calcium channel antagonist. It prevents cellular calcium overload by reducing excessive transmembrane influxes of calcium. It does not interfere with normal cellular calcium hemostasis. It has also antihistaminic and sedative properties.
