Description:
TENORVAS is Atenolol, a ß1 selective adrenergic receptor antagonist. It competitively blocks ß1 (cardiac) receptors thus acting as an antihypertensive medication. It has no effect on ß2-receptors. Tenorvas significantly reduces both maximal and submaximal exercise heart rates. Indicated in hypertension, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction and cardiac arrhythmias. Available in blister pack of 10’s; Box of 100’s.
