LANSOPRAZOLE

lansoprazole-lansodin-30mg

LANSODIN 30 mg Capsule; box of 28’s

Generic Name:              Lansoprazole
Registration Status:   Registered
Drug Type:                       ANTI-ULCER DRUGS
Principal:                         THE ACME LABORATORIES LTD.

Description:
LANSODIN is Lonsoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor. It is an irreversible inhibitor of the parietal cell H+ – K+ ATPase, which leads to profound inhibition of gastric acid secretion. It blocks the final step of acid production. This effect is dose-related and leads to inhibition of both basal and stimulated gastric secretion irrespective of the stimulus.

Available in alu-alu blister of 4’s, box of 28’s.

OMEPRAZOLE CAP

omeprazole-prosec-20mg

PROSEC 20 mg Capsule; box of 20’s

Generic Name:              Omeprazole
Registration Status:   Registered
Drug Type:                       ANTI-ULCER DRUGS
Principal:                         THE ACME LABORATORIES LTD.

Description:
PROSEC is Omeprazole, a substituted benzimidazole which is an inhibitor of gastric acid secretion. Omeprazole does not exhibit anticholinergic of H2-histamine antagonistic properties, but inhibits the secretion of gastric acid by blocking the H+/K+ATPase (hydrogen-potassium-adenosine triphosphatase) enzyme system, the so-called “proton pump” of the gastric parietal cell. Indicated for duodenal and gastric ulcer, NSAID-associated complications, peptic ulcer associated with Helicobacter pylori, gastro-esophageal reflux disease, acid reflux disease, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, prevention of acid aspiration syndrome, and acid related dyspepsia.

Available in Aluminum Foil Strip of 4’s; Box of 20’s.

PANTOPRAZOLE 20mg

pantoprazole-marozel-20mg

MAROZEL 20 mg Delayed Release Tablet; box of 50’s

Generic Name:              Pantoprazole 20mg Tablet
Registration Status:   Registered
Drug Type:                       ANTI-ULCER DRUGS
Principal:                         THE ACME LABORATORIES LTD.

Description:
Pantoprazole (Marozel) is a substituted benzimidazole, which inhibits the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach by specific action on the proton pumps of the parietal cells. Pantoprazole is converted to its active form in the acidic canaliculi of the parietal cells & it inhibits the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme, i.e. the final stage in the production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. The inhibition is dose-dependent and affects both basal and stimulated acid secretion. Pantoprazole is rapidly absorbed and the maximal plasma concentration is achieved even after a single oral dose. Serum protein binding of Pantoprazole is about 98%. The substance is almost exclusively metabolized in the liver and about 80% is eliminated through urine as metabolites, the rest are excreted with the faeces.

Available in : Alu-Alu Blister Pack of 10’s; Box of 50’s.
